Release Notes Under Duress
Description
The image is a dark-mode mobile app update screen for "AdGuard — adblock&privacy" with a green shield checkmark icon and a blue "OPEN" button. The release note text says: "They're making me write release notes for food. This is my only way to communicate with the world. They wanted me to tell you there are heaps of new awesome features, but it's all lies! They simply changed a couple of strings in one of the localizations. I'm crying for help! Save me, please! - Steve". The bottom line reads "Version 3.1.4 • 52.3 MB". The joke is a painfully honest release note that punctures the usual marketing ritual around tiny localization edits shipped as product progress.

The most honest changelog is the one that admits the release was three strings, two approvals, and a product narrative looking for a place to hide.
