Statisticians Be Like: This May or May Not Happen
Description
A "be like" meme over a photo of stone ruins under a cloudy sky. Top text: "statisticians be like". Three overlays: a standard normal bell curve shaded at 68.2%, 95.4%, and 99.7% (the empirical rule); a probability mass function plot of three peaked discrete distributions with a legend like N=500; and the normal approximation to the binomial, P(X ≤ k) ≈ Φ((k − np) / √(np(1 − p))). Bottom punchline: "yeah this may or may not happen". The joke is that elaborate probability machinery still collapses to a professional shrug.

They approximated the binomial with a normal so they could be approximately unsure.
