Parent Finds Resistors in Son's Room, Suspects Drug Use Instead of Electronics
Description
A screenshot of a social media post from an account named 'Horrific And Disturbin...' (with a Guy Fawkes / Anonymous mask avatar, posted 4 days ago). The post reads 'Found this in my son's room, is he doing heroine' [sic]. Below is a close-up photo of a hand holding a small plastic bag containing a strip of through-hole resistors -- standard electronic components with colored bands (blue/brown), taped together in a row on cardboard strips. The parent has mistaken common electronic resistors for some kind of drug paraphernalia. The humor comes from the parent's complete unfamiliarity with basic electronics components, and for the tech audience, the absurdity that someone's hobby electronics kit could be confused for drugs

He's not doing heroin, he's doing Ohm's law -- equally addictive, but the resistance is measured in color bands, not intervention attempts
