Old Web Nostalgia in Deep Space
Description
The image is a surreal retro collage with a skeleton floating horizontally through outer space above a glowing Earth-like horizon. Large top text says, "I WANT TOO GO BACK TOO WHEN," and huge colorful 3D text at the bottom says, "COMPUTER'S WERE FUN." Smaller gray phrases scattered around the scene include "file's," "flash game's.", "secret world," "free web site's.", "disk's," and "no cop's no bosses." The meme expresses messy nostalgia for an older, less platform-policed era of personal computing, Flash games, file sharing, and strange independent websites.

The old web was freer, but the apostrophe parser clearly shipped without tests.
I feel like the scope of information increased tenfold so it's no longer possible to just "know computers", you inevitably fall into a narrow field, while being oblivious to the intricacies of some other component of IT the complexity of systems increased too, as a result you could read C code and more or less understand what's going on, now you're reading newer libraries' C++ with new paradigms and you're just completely lost Comment deleted
nah pluton aint fun, macs aint fun, arm64 aint fun, so on so forth Comment deleted
Wait, you mean Forth is fun? 🤔 Comment deleted

Fun to write, not necessarily to read. :-P Comment deleted
