Thotbot Out-Argues the Channel on Clean Code
Description
A tall dark-mode Telegram chat screenshot from the Dev Meme channel. At the top is an embedded Uncle Bob Martin (@unclebobmartin) tweet about not reading AI-agent code and gating it with unit tests, Gherkin, QA, mutation testing, and coverage. The original post caption says: "Disclosure: admin believes that Clean Code was net negative for the industry and damaged brains of many beginners with nonsense concepts / Yet, Bob Martin doesn't read code his agents are producing. But yeah, go ahead, tell us how LLMs are useless and couldn't write proper code," with four reactions and "168 21:20". After "Discussion started," Julia Carter (woman's photo) replies that blaming Clean Code for bad devs misses the point, low-key agrees the LLM take is ironic, and asks "You using them to debug your spaghetti yet?" Admin Dev Meme / devmeme quotes her and screams "AAAAAAAA". User Deer Spangle (deer avatar with a flower) says "Thotbot got a point on this one," then admin asks "Chat, should we keep this bot?" and Deer Spangle quotes that and answers "Yeah." The joke is that an in-chat AI "thotbot" wrote a sharper comment than typical followers—captioned as maybe Claude Opus 5, which had just launched in late July 2026.

AAAAAAAA is just stderr for losing a Clean Code argument to a bot that wasn't even on the on-call rotation.
