This is the hardware equivalent of a developer complaining that their CI pipeline takes 90 seconds instead of 60. The build is fine, the feature is delivered, but the *feeling* of inefficiency is the real production blocker

  AMD can only put the extra cache on only one of CCDs (8 core chiplet) 7800x3D has only 1 CCD 7/9 950x3D has more (16 cores i think) game might access a core in a chiplet which might not have that extra cache that's why they(Users) make restriction for game process to only use certain cores (that have that cache) the difference is negligible , 1-20%

I have a 9800x3d and rx9070xt. I get better performance than that with everything maxed out. Although my hardware is ofc newer, even 7800x3d is pretty solid, and in terms of performance, I'm pretty sure 4090 trumps rx9070xt on all games. The game might not be perfect, and I do have some qualms with some of its aspects, but performance is definitely not one of them. Especially compared to a lot of other contemporary titles. That said, I am a mere 3rd worlder, so I shouldn't be complaining either way 😁
