Rob Pike is employed by google, the company that started the whole ai craze (the original “attention is all you need” paper was authored by google employees) and is currently profiting off ai by doing everything that he complains about. He is also taking a shitload of money in salary and stocks from google. Rob Pike is complaining about what he helped create.
