Our Data, Anthropic's Invisible Claude Marks
Description
A two-panel pixel-art comic titled “OUR DATA, ANTHROPIC'S MARK?” In the top panel, a smiling stick figure at a laptop labeled OUR PRODUCT says “We build it. We own it,” while an orange Claude blob with a green pencil writes on a code card marked </> and says “I'll help improve it,” adding an orange asterisk. In the bottom panel the same developer looks confused (“What's happening?”) as orange asterisks cover code files, documents, folders labeled our code, curly-brace files, our data, and a database stack; captions read “Claude marks” and “fingerprints everywhere.” The joke riffs on Anthropic’s August 2026 Claude watermarking and C2PA provenance for EU AI Act compliance, imagining those invisible marks spreading through a team’s own product, source, and data.
