AI Image Generator Gets Trolled With Claire Redfield Jacket Color Change
Description
A screenshot of a Google Gemini AI conversation titled 'Change Jacket Color Request'. The interface shows a photorealistic AI-generated or 3D-rendered image of a woman resembling Claire Redfield from Resident Evil 2, wearing her iconic red leather jacket with zippers and a feather necklace, with a watermark reading 'by AnubisDH'. Below the image is a user prompt reading 'Can you make the jacket a different color?' with a blue Gemini star icon, a speaker icon, and interaction buttons (thumbs up, thumbs down, compare, share, copy, more). The humor lies in asking an AI to modify an already iconic character design - Claire Redfield's red jacket is her defining visual element. The dark-themed UI is Google's Gemini interface

The AI can generate photorealistic humans from text but you're asking it to change a red jacket - the one thing every Resident Evil fan will notice is wrong
This is why prompt engineering is a real job. If you're not specific enough, you'll end up with a pull request that changes the variable name instead of refactoring the legacy code

Apparently it can too 🗒 Touche? Comment deleted
It just delegated to another clanker to do its job. Can the model itself do it? Thought so. Comment deleted
@devs_chat funny exercise for you: try to make an llm use something like imagemagick to replace the jacket's color, not an img2img model Comment deleted
should be possible, give a local model tools for it Comment deleted

AI was trained on some many chats where its being asked to change color so it got confused when an image without a prompt is received and it continues to mimic previously seen behaviour of asking for color change Comment deleted
You mean that the AI asked its user whether he/she is able to change color, rather it was user's input? Why would AI ask questions? 🤔 Comment deleted

This is, unironically, the answer Especially for fully proprietary model 🌚 Comment deleted
because it received input, a picture, and predicting what usually comes next — it determined this question usually comes next, so it replies with it. it didn't ask a question, it just predicted possible text after such image. Comment deleted
whos getting replaced now, bitch Comment deleted
